cukes

My fellow Eagle Brothers and Sisters. l joined the Rumford Falls Eagles back in 1990 so I could bowl in the Eagles bowling league. After traveling around New England participating in the Eagles New England Regional Bowling tournament and meeting a lot of members from other states, I decided I wanted to become more involved in my own Aerie. I became an officer at my home Aerie in the mid 1990's and worked my way through the chairs to become Aerie President 2000 and 2001. ln 2013 I was elected and installed as a Maine State Aerie Officer, Worthy Outside Guard. After 12 years of traveling the State of Maine participating in State Conventions, Regional Conventions, and traveling the country going to Grand Conventions and meeting a lot of incredible people along the way I have worked my way up through the Maine State Aerie chairs to become the Worthy Maine State Aerie President. I am honored to be in this position, and I could not have achieved this milestone without the support of the members of my home Aerie Rumford Falls 1248, fellow State Officers, a lot of friends and Family and the most important person in my life, my wife Sonia. I will do my best to make all of you proud and uphold the tradition and motto of People Helping People.

A little information about me. I was born and raised in Rumford Maine. I graduated high school and went directly into the work force right out of school. I worked at Sunday River Ski Resort for over 30 years. I started out as a laborer and worked my way up the ladder to become the Ski Lift Maintenance Manager. I married my incredible wife in 2013. In 2015 Sonia and I decided to accept a new job which required us to move to Rutland VT. I attended an Aerie meeting in Rumford to announce I was moving to VT and the club would need to find a replacement for me as the State Officer for Rumford. Nobody wanted to take over the position so I told them I would stay on as the State Officer. Sonia and I still live in Rutland VT, and I work for General Electric Aerospace as a mechanical/ElectricalTechnician in the maintenance depadment.

I look forward to visiting all the clubs in the Great State of Maine. I would like to congratulate Phil Thomas on a great year. lt has been a pleasure working with him and all the Maine State Aerie Officers. I am excited and look forward to the year ahead of me and having a successful year
